Psalm 65:9-10 NKJV
You visit the earth and water it,
You greatly enrich it;
The river of God is full of water;
You provide their grain,
For so You have prepared it.
You water its ridges abundantly,
You settle its furrows;
You make it soft with showers,
You bless its growth.
The psalmist praised God for His goodness and great faithfulness. He talks about how the Lord waters the earth to make it fruitful and productive.
Spiritual parallel: God is faithful to provide the water of the Word and the Holy Spirit for us as believers. When we receive these blessings, we become fruitful and productive spiritually. We must be like the earth and take in all God gives us so we can be all He wants us to be.
