Parents protest secret LGBT club in elementary school
Parents in California are voicing outrage following leaked information from a local elementary school. The school, Pleasant Grove Elementary School in Elk Grove, California allowed a teacher to start a pro-LGBT school club. The school allowed students in the third to sixth grades to be a part of club which met during the school’s lunch period. The students were given one request by the teacher and the school officials to join the club; they could not tell their parents. The club called UBU was described by the teacher who founded it as a club for boys who crush on boys and girls who crush on girls. Parents were alerted of the club’s existence when a parent reported her child came home confused and asked questions about his gender. The parent then confronted school officials. The Elk Grove Unified School District board says their attorneys are looking into the matter. Parents voiced anger saying all clubs require permission slips from parents except this club. There were also reports that teachers in the district were trained in how to respond to parents that expressed anger about the club. Parents who have children in the Elk Grove School district say they are considering legal action. A parent in another school district sued after discovering her child was recruited by a UBU club and was secretly allowed to wear boys clothing after being convinced she was the wrong gender. That parent was awarded 100-thousand dollars.
Biden administration justifies social media policing
The Biden administration is defending its right to remove content on social media. The current administration claims they were protecting citizens from false information on these platforms. According to those suing the government, coercion is a violation of First Amendment rights in the U.S. This case is significant because it is a will determine if the Biden administration has the right to coerce social media companies into taking down what the administration claims is false information. This pressure from the government resulted in false information checks, fact checking disclaimers, and in some extreme cases users were banned from social media platforms. Critics call the policing of social media censorship and say this behavior is to similar practices in communist and socialist countries. Five individuals and the attorney generals of the states of Louisiana and Missouri filed the lawsuit which is now before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Biden Administration applies pressure to Israeli Prime Minister to resign
The Biden Administration has continued to put pressure on Israel. The administration is now calling for the resignation of Israel’s prime minister and new elections for the nation’s leader. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has refused to step down. Netanyahu says holding elections is up to the people of his nation. The prime minister added holding elections during wartime would be like the U.S. holding elections in the midst of war following the 9-11 attacks. The nation of Israel has seen mounting pressure from around the world including here in the U.S. to end the conflict with Hamas. Netanyahu and other Israeli officials say the conflict will end when they destroy Hamas. The terrorist group attacked Israeli citizens on October 7th killing over one thousand and taking several hundred as hostages.

Faith the size of a mustard seed is a common phrase among the Christian community. The scripture in Matthew 17:20 speaks of the importance of building your faith and how even a small amount, the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. In this segment of SNBC Health: the power of the tiny mustard seed can also be used as a weapon against health issues in the body. According to a study in 2010, researchers used organic mustard seed powder in various ways to protect the body as a cancer fighting agent. Brown mustard was combined with cruciferous vegetables. Both foods contained a common ingredient in mustard oil which is found to fight against cancer in the body. The mustard seed plant is a part of the cruciferous family and contains high amounts of ten different nutrients including: selenium, copper and zinc. It is also rich in vitamin B. Mustard seed helps with digestion and improves heart health. It benefits bone health, helps relieve headaches, and promotes healthy skin. Most of the research in this study focused on organic brown mustard and mustard seeds, but the effects are believed to be the same if you simply purchase organic mustard.
SNBC NEWS NOTE: Trans visibility day declared on Resurrection Sunday. Religious symbolism banned at the annual Easter Egg roll
Christians and conservatives expressed outrage at the Biden Administration for a recent declaration. Mr. Biden released a declaration on March 31st calling the day Trans Visibility Day. Trans Visibility Day had been previously recognized by the Biden administration. This year however, the date also fell on the same date at Resurrection Sunday (also referred to as Easter Sunday), which caused a major firestorm among Christians, conservatives, and allies of both groups. The controversy continued after it was announced that the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll held on Monday April 1st would not allow any religious symbols. Most Evangelical Christians do not observe traditions associated with Easter Sunday observations (Traditional title of Easter, eggs, bunnies, etc.) however critics called both incidents (religious symbol ban and declaration on Easter Sunday) as a clear biased against a holiday exclusively associated with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Biden Administration did put out a statement acknowledging March 31st as Easter Sunday. The administration also recognized March 31st as Ceasar Chavez day. The late labor and civil rights activist was born on March 31st.
