US House passes The US House of Representatives recently passed the Parents Bill of Rights
This potential law is designed to give parents more of a say in their child’s education. Supporters call the bill especially important because of the current climate in the US. The bill passed on straight party lines with no Democrats voting for the bill. It now goes to the Democrat controlled Senate and is expected to face a battle there. The Parents Bill of Rights gives parents the right to know what their child or children are being taught, and to have their concerns heard by school administrators. The right to see the school’s budget and spending, protection of children’s privacy and the right to keep children safe are also a part of the bill’s protections for parents. The bill will require schools to post school curriculums and free speech at school board meetings. Some members of the Democratic party who voted against the bill called it an attempt by Republicans to “censor history”.

Library director fired over Kirk Cameron book tour
A library director in Tennessee has lost his job following an incident involving Kirk Cameron. Cameron recently wrote a pro-America book and is doing a nationwide book tour. The tour first made headlines after several libraries refused to host events. Most of the facilities had previously sponsored Drag Queen story hours. Several of the libraries claimed the event by Cameron would be offensive to LGBT groups. According to witnesses that accompanied Cameron to the event, the library’s director and his staff were described as difficult prior to the event and were intentionally disruptive. One guest added that the director of the library, Allan Morales, had attempted to sabotage people attending the event in the community encouraging guests not to come. Allan also reportedly emailed the publishing company claiming he did not want to “promote an agenda on the left or the right.”  The county board where the library is located later voted to fire Allan following the incident. Allan has declined comment saying he wants to move on and hopes the community heals from the controversy. Cameron’s book and book tour received nationwide attention for the number of libraries that refused to host him. Most of those libraries later extended invitations following outcry from their local communities and supporters.

World Athletics bans trans athletes in women’s international competition
The World Athletics Council has announced they will not allow transgender athletes in women’s competitions. The international governing body announced recently the ban will include track and field sports and all related sports. The organization said in their statement of their decision that fairness must be maintained among female athletes above all other considerations. The statement included the group examined science concerning the difference in physical performance between men and women as part of their decision. The organization said the integrity of the female category in athletics is paramount. The council says the decision may be reexamined in the next few years as they continue to monitor scientific studies. World Athletics was founded in 1912 and is the governing body for all international track and field events and running. The council’s decision could affect similar organizations including the International Olympic Committee. The IOC has previously allowed trans athletes in women’s competition but have moved away from the subject following controversy over the matter.

Teacher suspended for conservative comments online
A Methodist Bible college professor has been fired in the UK for speaking against homosexuality. According to report Dr. Aaron Edwards was fired from Cliff College in Derbyshire, England following a series of tweets by Edwards. The professor tweeted on his own personal account “Homosexuality is invading the church”. Edwards continued saying if the church does not acknowledge sin, then the need for a Savior is diminished, and it is not homophobic to call homosexuality a sin. Dr. Edwards was suspended from the College after the tweets. The school’s officials claim the remarks caused some members of the church “distress” and were “damaging” to the school’s core work.  School officials even considered turning Edwards in to the government’s terrorism task force because of the remarks. Dr. Edwards says the school and the UK Methodist church’s actions illustrate the problems within the church. Edwards added that the church is attempting to silence traditional beliefs based on the Word of God. Methodist church officials in the United Kingdom have refused to comment on this case.

State AG hosts Drag Queen story hour on taxpayer’s tab
NY State Attorney sponsors New York State’s attorney general recently hosted a drag queen story hour for families with small children. Letitia James announced the story hour on social media encouraging families to bring their children out for the event. The office of the attorney general report over 200 people showed up for the story hour. James’ office released a statement saying the event was held to, “condemn hate and combat rampant disinformation.”  Critics called the event a grooming session. They also reminded citizens living in the state that this event was put on with taxpayer dollars. One drag queen story hour event in 2018 received over 200 thousand dollars in city contracts according to The New York Post. Opponents are calling for James’ resignation for sponsoring controversial events with taxpayer dollars.

Ivy League University sponsors “emotional training” curriculum for young children
A school curriculum developed under Yale Medical School is using emotional persuasion tactics to trigger children attending public schools. Parents claim the curriculum is being used to make students become angry about social justice causes and aid them in developing an "intersectional identity”.

The tightly guarded curriculum was created by the Center for Emotional Intelligence at Yales’ Child Study Center. The lessons deeply probe into student's emotions, personal relationships, traumas, beliefs and triggers.

A law firm, the Dhillon Law Group, recently threatened a lawsuit against the Newport-Mesa School District. Attorneys for the firm accused the school district of forcing students to participate in the curriculum with no opt-out feature. The firm also accused the lessons require teachers who are unlicensed in this area to counsel students on the matter which is a violation of federal and constitutional law.

The curriculum encourages students to "see red" on their "mood meters," and to be enraged by social justice issues. It also encourages educators to bring inflammatory images into classrooms to create a culture of rage among their students.

One Newport-Mesa parent commented, "They're there intentionally triggering these kids emotionally."

"The educator essentially gets to define what is just and unjust based on the cultural bias of the day and without regard to any family or student values or beliefs," the parent added.

Another parent said the curriculum was a clear and "subversive attempt to socially engineer our children, to create them into social justice warriors."

It went so far as to ask students to enact distressing scenarios. "Students should go beyond explaining how they would express their emotions, and actually practice it with their facial expressions, vocal tones and body language."

SNBC Health News: Thyroid Health and Iodine
Your thyroid gland needs iodine to make hormones that influence your metabolism and other vital functions. Since your body does not produce iodine, you must get it through your diet on a daily basis. When your body lacks sufficient iodine, it cannot make enough thyroid hormone.

In the case of a serious nuclear accident, radioactive iodine can be released into the air, increasing your risk of thyroid cancer and acute radiation sickness when inhaled.

Non-radioactive iodine supplements help to prevent the radioactive iodine from concentrating in your thyroid gland, thereby reducing the risk of thyroid cancer.

Health experts generally recommend that you get as many nutrients as possible from your food, and iodine is no exception. Foods that are naturally iodine-rich include spirulina, sea vegetables, prunes, raw dairy products, eggs and Himalayan pink sea salt. Eating these foods on a regular basis will help ensure adequate levels year-round.

In the case of nuclear fallout, however, you may need higher doses than these foods can immediately provide — especially if you have not been getting sufficient amounts on a daily basis.

The conventional recommendation to ward off some of the health dangers of radiation exposure is to take supplemental potassium iodide. In addition to potassium iodide tablets, you could use Lugol’s solution, which includes both potassium iodide and iodine in water.

The recommended daily dosage of potassium iodide for an adult in the case of acute radiation exposure, is 130 milligrams (mg), which is relatively high and far in excess of the normal daily requirement of 1 mg or less per day.

For optimal protection, the iodine would ideally be taken one hour before the radiation exposure, and no later than 12 hours after exposure. Other supplements that can help reduce damage associated with radiation exposure are Vitamin D3 and molecular hydrogen.

CMS removes sexually explicit books from two public school libraries following criticism
(Parent warning: some content in this story maybe too mature for young children/tween aged children)
Charlotte-Mecklenburg County’s interim superintendent has announced a review of over 8-thousand books following the removal of a controversial book. The book entitled ‘Let’s talk about it, A teens guide to sex, relationships and being human’ was found in two high school libraries in the county last month. In a statement CMS says the books were a part of a package sent by a publishing company and were deemed appropriate for students’ 9th -12th grade. The book features various topics and illustrations to accompany the book’s subject matter. Although deemed appropriate a parent Brooke Weiss, Chair of the Mecklenburg County Moms for Liberty says in protest she posted the book’s contents on social media. Weiss says within 15 minutes she was censored due to its graphic content according to the social media company that censored the book. CMS interim superintendent, Crystal Hill immediately pulled the book along with another book deemed inappropriate once she was made aware of the situation according to reports.
No students at the two high schools where the books were located had reportedly checked the books out before they were removed.

(Ex. of some chapter titles listed in the book ‘Let’s talk about it, a teen’s guide to sex relationships, and being human') . The books content is claimed to be appropriate for teens ages 14-18 (9th-12th grade).

Christian school banned after refusing to play against trans student athlete
A Christian school in Vermont is now banned for refusing to play against a team. According to reports Mid Vermont Christian school’s girls’ basketball team will be banned from any playoff tournaments in the future due to forfeiting a tournament game. The schools withdrew from a tournament following the announcement that their opponent’s team had a student who was a biological male that identified as transgender. A representative from the school, Vicky Fogg released a statement saying in part, “competing against a biological male jeopardizes the fairness of the game and the safety of our players.” Following the statement Mid Vermont Christian School was banned from all further tournament competitions. The Vermont Principals Association claims the forfeit was a violation of state law regarding transgender athletes. This Vermont state law has continued to be surrounded with controversy due to it biased nature towards biological female athletes. Last year a student and her father in Vermont were suspended from a school’s athletic program after the student refused to change in the same locker room with another student that claimed to be transgender. The school in that case also defended the trans student citing Vermont state law.

SNBC NEWS UPDATE: Coach allowed reinstated after legal battle
A high school football coach will be back on the field this fall following a long battle that led all the way to the US Supreme Court. Coach Joe Kennedy was fired in 2015 from Bremerton School District for violating school policy according to officials. Coach Kennedy was an assistant football coach and would silently pray following the public school’s football games. The coach was eventually joined by students and other coaches. Kennedy was accused of recruiting students to be a part of the prayers, a claim he denied. The case led to a lawsuit by the coach which was eventually decided by the US Supreme Court. The court ruled in Coach Kennedy’s favor with one justice commenting that he was a private citizen at the time of the prayers and he did not violate any laws. The school district released a statement confirming the coach was reinstated and would report to the school district for work starting in August of this year.

The press release for the event called the honorees, “11 extraordinary women from around the world who are working to build a brighter future for all.” Those on social media criticized the event calling it part of a plan to push a liberal agenda. Rueda is currently Argentina’s Special Envoy for Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship. The Biden Administration has not commented on the controversy.

School board rejects Christian University teachers due to faith stance
A school board has ended its relationship with a Christian University’s education program. The Washington Elementary School District board, located in Phoenix and Glendale, Arizona voted to end its relationship with Arizona Christian University. The partnership between the two was used to recruit new graduates to teach in that district. The board elected to end the relationship because of ACU’s Christian beliefs. A board member, Tamillia Valenzuela, even claimed that the graduates high moral standards due to their faith, belief in traditional marriage, and sexual morality would be a threat to LGBTQ students. Another board member, Kyle Clayton, claimed teachers “teaching through a Biblical lens” is embedded in ACU students and he felt those beliefs  didn’t belong in the district.  The president of Arizona Christian University released a statement saying in part, "The school board's recent decision to ban ACU students from serving as student teachers was done for one reason only: our university’s commitment to our Christian convictions. That's wrong, it's unlawful, and will only hurt the district's students." Following criticism concerning the story the president of the school district released a statement claiming the ending of their partnership with ACU was not based on the university’s Christian values which contradicted the board member’s comments.

UK arrest demonstrator for silent protest
The United Kingdom has continued to block peaceful demonstrations in front of abortion clinics. Government officials recently passed a law and claim it is to protect patients and employees. This law according to officials is designed to stop intimidation of patients getting medical care and facility employees. Protestors are now restricted to certain areas called buffer zones away from the clinics and are banned from shouting, chanting, or speaking to patients and workers. Police in the UK have now taken it one step further. Two protestors were recently arrested for bowing their heads and praying silently in front of abortion clinics. According to video released the officer arrested one protester claiming silent prayer was still a violation of the law. Critics dubbed the arrest a “thoughtcrime” and say freedom of religion in the UK is now under assault. Conservatives in the nation are pushing for an amendment to the law that would protect silent prayer protests at abortion clinics.  Following the controversy, charges against one protestor have been dropped.

Senator Rand Paul is asking the Biden administration to declassify more documents concerning this recent report.

Satanic Convention draws criticism from Conservatives and Christians
Critics are calling an upcoming event blasphemy. The Satanic Temple has announced it will host its second annual Satan Con 2023 in Boston. The group promoted the event, calling it a weekend of blasphemy and remembrance in Boston. Satan Con claims it holds the largest membership of any group in that city. They also claim this conference will be the largest Satanic gathering in history. Critics believe the Satanic Temple took particular aim at the City for refusing to allow them at various events. The organization had previously requested to pray at Boston’s city council meetings and to have the satanic flag flown over City Hall. Both requests were denied by the City. Following the requests, in 2021, the City of Boston stopped allowing religious flags to be displayed. Christian organizations are calling for prayer during the Satan Con weekend, which is scheduled for April 28th- 30th.

Fifth nation announces embassy move to Jerusalem
The nation of Papua New Guinea has announced it will build its new embassy in Israel. The nation previously had a consulate in Tel Aviv. The announcement was made recently and was confirmed by Israel’s Foreign Minister. The nation is the fifth to move its embassy to Jerusalem. The predominately Christian nation follows Guatemala, Honduras, Kosovo, the US who have also moved their embassies. Several other nations have established trade offices in Jerusalem but have not moved officially their embassies. The city of Jerusalem has been avoided as an embassy base by most nations due to conflict with Palestinians who want part of the city as part of their potential nation. Israeli officials also praised Papua New Guinea for its continued supported within the UN. Officials of that nation have defended Israel during continued resolutions by the UN. The anti-Israel resolutions are believed to be an attempt to force Israel back into negations with Palestinians.

SNBC HEALTH REPORT: 25 Health Tips
Dr. Joseph Mercola has released 25 Health Tips based on the most up-to-date health information available. The full list of the tips is listed below:

1.  Time-Restricted Eating (also known as intermittent fasting) - Over 90% of people eat more than 12 hours a day. Eating all your meals within a six-to eight-hour window each day is one of the most powerfully effective ways to normalize your insulin/leptin sensitivity, which is the root cause of most chronic diseases.

2.  Eliminate Seed Oils from Your Diet – High concentrations of (li-no-le’-ic) acid are found in oils like safflower, grapeseed, sunflower, and canola. These oils are found in store-bought processed foods and condiments, fast food and regular restaurant food. Instead, use olive, avocado, palm and coconut oils, along with lard, tallow or butter.

3.  Sun Exposure as a Source of Vitamins A, D and Melatonin – Sunlight provides vital wavelengths for your health, triggering the production of Vitamin D in your skin and catalyzing melatonin production. Sun exposure also activates Vitamin A, increases nitric oxide and optimizes serotonin production for improved mental health.

4.  Most of Us Need to Donate Our Blood – Most men and postmenopausal women have high iron, because so many processed foods are “fortified” with dangerous forms of iron, and our bodies have no pathway to eliminate iron other than through blood loss.

5.  Optimize Your Sleep and Get Enough of It - Getting enough high-quality sleep is one of the most important but frequently neglected health strategies for most people. Each of your organs has its own biological clock. Your brains have a “master clock,” that synchronizes these clocks and your bodily functions to the 24-hour light and dark cycle. When you upset your circadian rhythm (or sleep pattern) by insufficient sleep, the results can have far-reaching consequences, affecting everything from mood, creativity and brain detoxification to chronic disease risk, including dementia and longevity.

No. 6 — Eat Enough Animal Protein

To build muscle, it’s really important to get enough protein in your diet, ideally animal protein. There are 20 amino acids and nine of them are essential, which means you have to get them from your diet, as your body cannot make them from other substrates.

 No. 7 — Sauna Therapy

Health benefits of sauna therapy include detoxification, improved cardiovascular fitness, reduced all-cause mortality, lower blood pressure, reduced dementia risk, improved mental health, strengthened immune function, improved athletic endurance, reduced inflammation, stem cell activation, improved insulin sensitivity and a reduction in stress hormones.

No. 8 — Molecular Hydrogen

Molecular hydrogen (H2) is a gas with very unique and selective antioxidant effects that specifically target the most harmful free radicals. This means it activates your body’s intrinsic ability to generate antioxidants if and only if there is excessive oxidative stress which is perfect as high dose antioxidants can be indiscriminate and suppress beneficial free radicals.

No. 9 — Optimize Your Sleep and Get Enough of It

Getting enough high-quality sleep is one of the most important but frequently neglected health strategies for most people. They assume they are beyond the biology rules and can cheat their health by going to bed late and sleeping six hours or less, while still sincerely believing they will be healthy.

No. 10 — Minimize EMF Exposure

EMF exposures — which include AC electric fields from house wiring and corded appliances, AC magnetic fields from power lines and wiring errors, radio frequencies from smart meters, cellphones and Wi-Fi, and dirty electricity (transient voltage spikes as a result of switching mode power supplies) — have been linked to a wide array of health effects.

No. 11 — Ditch Nonstick Cookware and Other Air Polluting Items

The average American spends 90% of their day indoors, where air pollution levels can be up to five times higher than outside.

Two primary sources of indoor air pollution are a) materials used to construct the building itself and everything in it, including your furniture, and b) chemical products you bring into and use inside your home.

One oft-ignored source of daily toxic exposure is the use of nonstick cookware, which release toxic per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) substances when heated. A whopping 98% of Americans have PFAS in their blood, attesting to the pervasiveness of these chemicals.

PFAS have been linked to a number of serious conditions, including thyroid disease, organ damage, cancer and infertility.

Healthier options include ceramic and enameled cast iron cookware, both of which are durable, easy to clean and completely inert, which means they won't release any harmful chemicals into your home.

No. 12 — Address High Blood Pressure

About 116 million people in the U.S. alone (nearly half of all adults) have high blood pressure, and it's uncontrolled in 46% of them.  In 2017, the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American College of Cardiology, along with nine other health organizations, changed the cutoff used to diagnose high blood pressure from 140/90 mm Hg to 130/80 mm Hg. Normal blood pressure is now below 120/80 mm Hg.

This slight shift increased the number of people diagnosed to include many who had previously been considered healthy. Usually, there are no warning signs or symptoms of high blood pressure. The only way to know for certain is to have your pressure measured.

No. 13 — Stop Tech From Surveilling You by Protecting Your Privacy

In recent years, the privacy hazards and dangers to democracy and freedom of thought and speech posed by Google and Facebook have become glaringly obvious. The amount of information gleaned about you through these two platforms alone is far beyond what most people can imagine.

Google and Facebook are also two primary platforms through which the war on humanity is being fought, using censorship, propaganda and AI-driven social engineering. Most everyone has by now experienced these devastating powers firsthand.

No. 14 — Melatonin

Melatonin is one of the most important antioxidant molecules and certainly the most ancient, as it has been part of biological life for over 3 billion years. In the human body, melatonin not only has independent direct antioxidant effects, but it also stimulates the synthesis of glutathione and other important endogenous antioxidants like superoxide dismutase and catalase.

 No. 15 — Methylene Blue

Methylene blue is a hormetic drug, which means that low doses have the opposite effect as high doses. While low dosages have an antioxidant effect, high doses are pro-oxidative and can kill bacteria and tumor cells.

It is also one of the absolute best ways to treat urinary tract infections as it concentrates in the bladder and has no negative impact on your microbiome.

No. 16 — Boost Your Collagen

Collagen is the most common and abundant of your body’s proteins, one of its primary purposes being to provide structural scaffolding for your various tissues to allow them to stretch while still maintaining tissue integrity.

No. 17 — Be Prepared for Emergencies

If you live in a hurricane-prone area, you may be used to the annual ritual of stocking up on extra food and bottled water. However, many happenings now point to the possibility of food, water and energy shortages becoming a reality in most areas of the world, so even if you’ve never had to prepare for potential emergencies before, it would be wise to do so now, regardless of where you live.

No. 18 — Digestive and Systemic Enzymes

Your body secretes enzymes to catalyze biological reactions, making them essential to good health and longevity. Each organ has its own set of enzymes, and each enzyme has a different function.

Enzymes can be broadly divided into digestive enzymes, metabolic enzymes and food-based enzymes, and there are two primary ways of using an enzyme supplement: digestively or systemically.

Taken with food, it will help digest the food. Taken on an empty stomach, the enzymes will pass through your digestive system and enter your blood circulation, providing systemic benefits.

No. 19 — Vitamin C Protocol for Sepsis

One of the most important medical discoveries in recent years is Dr. Paul Marik’s vitamin C protocol for sepsis — a progressive disease process initiated by an aggressive, dysfunctional immune response to an infection in the bloodstream, which is why it’s sometimes referred to as blood poisoning.

Marik, former chief of pulmonary and critical care medicine at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in eastern Virginia, discovered a simple and inexpensive way to treat sepsis using intravenous (IV) vitamin C and thiamine (vitamin B-1) in combination with the steroid hydrocortisone.

 No. 20 — Hydration

Keep in mind that if you sweat a lot, either due to weather conditions, exercise or sauna use, you can easily deplete your body of beneficial minerals. In these instances, adding some electrolytes to your drinking water is a good idea. Merely hydrating with plain water can actually have negative effects on performance, both vigorous exercise performance and endurance exercise.

Salt and electrolytes are key for reducing muscle cramps, especially if you’re exerting yourself in heat. Adding glycine also helps increase absorption of sodium in your intestine, decreases your core body temperature, and inhibits muscle cramps.

No. 21 — B Vitamins for Brain Health

B vitamins are important for brain health and the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases, migraines and psychiatric conditions.  For example, vitamin B2 (riboflavin) has been shown to have potent neuroprotective potential, offering protection against both migraine and Parkinson’s disease by ameliorating oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, neuroinflammation, homocysteine neurotoxicity and glutamate excitotoxicity. Vitamins B6, B12 and B9 (folate, or folic acid in its synthetic form) have also been shown to reduce migraine disability.  This same trio may also help prevent cognitive decline and protect against more serious dementia such as Alzheimer's disease.

No. 22 — Ditch the Cholesterol Myth

After decades of research failed to demonstrate a correlation between dietary cholesterol and heart disease, the 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans finally admitted that “cholesterol is not considered a nutrient of concern for overconsumption.”

A scientific review published in the Expert Review of Clinical Pharmacology in 2018 also dismissed many long-held myths about cholesterol and the benefit of lowering it.

The paper presents substantial evidence that total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels are not an indication of heart disease risk, and that statin treatment is of “doubtful benefit” as a form of primary prevention for this reason.

As a general rule, cholesterol-lowering drugs are not required or prudent for the majority of people — especially if both high cholesterol and longevity run in your family.

No. 23 — Quercetin for Respiratory Health

Quercetin is a potent antiviral supplement worth keeping on hand. Studies have shown it’s effective against a wide variety of viruses, including:

  • Herpes simplex virus type 1, polio-virus type 1, parainfluenza virus type 3 and respiratory syncytial virus

  • Dengue virus

  • Hepatitis B and C

  • SARS-CoV-2

It’s found naturally in apples, plums, red grapes, green tea, elder flower and onions.

No. 24 — Top 9 Nutrients for Brain Health

Nutrition plays an instrumental role in brain health and cognition. Nine of the most important nutrients for brain health and working memory are:

  • Marine-based omega-3 fat DHA — DHA is an essential structural component of your brain, and is found in high levels in your neurons, the cells of your central nervous system.

  • Marine-based omega-3 fat EPA — EPA, meanwhile, appears to be particularly beneficial in the treatment of depression, as it helps lower levels of tumor necrosis factor alpha, interleukin 1 beta and prostaglandin E2 — three immune chemicals that tend to be elevated in those with depression.

  • Choline — Choline helps protect against Alzheimer's by reducing your homocysteine level, an amino acid associated with neurodegeneration and formation of amyloid plaques, and inhibiting microglia activation, which inhibits brain inflammation.

  • Phosphatidylserine — Phosphatidylserine is an amino acid derivative that is highly prevalent in neural tissue and plays an important role in the cellular function in your brain. While your body can synthesize it on its own, you can also get it through food (such as mackerel, cod, egg yolks and organ meats) and/or a phosphatidylserine complex supplement.

  • Acetyl-L-carnitine — Acetyl-L-carnitine (ALCAR) has many beneficial effects on brain metabolism, protects against neurotoxic insults, and has been shown to benefit certain forms of depression.

  • Vitamin D — Activated vitamin D receptors increase nerve growth in your brain, and metabolic pathways for vitamin D also exist in your hippocampus and cerebellum, areas involved in planning, information processing and memory formation.

  • Vitamin B12 — A lack of B12 may contribute to brain shrinkage. Mental fogginess and problems with memory are two of the top warning signs that you have vitamin B12 deficiency, and this is indicative of its importance for your brain health.

  • MCT oil — Your brain can run on both glucose and ketones, and ketones are actually better. Ketones appear to be the preferred source of energy for the brain in people affected by diabetes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and maybe even ALS, because in these diseases, certain neurons have become insulin resistant or have lost the ability to efficiently utilize glucose. As a result, neurons slowly die off.

  • Probiotics — As your "second brain," the state of your gut also plays an important role in your neurological and psychological health. Probiotics have been shown to reduce symptoms of depression and decrease pathological hallmarks of Alzheimer's, including amyloid plaques and tangles.

No. 25 — Astaxanthin

Commonly called "king of the carotenoids," astaxanthin is a potent anti-inflammatory antioxidant derived from specific types of microalgae called Haematoccous pluvialis. The combination of high-potency antioxidant- and anti-inflammatory properties allows it to address a vast array of health concerns, including heart problems, joint problems such as rheumatoid arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow, and protection from damaging UV radiation by acting like an internal sunscreen.
